Learn how to add stock music and upload your own in your videos

Enhancing the tone and mood of your video, increasing viewer engagement, and making it more memorable can all be achieved by adding music. By learning how to add, upload, and apply music as well as adjust volume and disable the music when necessary, you can take your video to the next level.

How to add background music?

  1. Navigate to the Music tab

  2. Preview any of the Colossyan stock music by clicking the play icon on the left-hand side

  3. Once you're happy with an option, click Select

  4. Once selected, you can add the music for all scenes by clicking on the Set as background music everywhere toggle

  5. Adjust the music volume by using the slider

  6. You can always change the music by clicking the 'change' button at the top

How to upload my own background music?

  1. Click on the Upload button inside the Music tab

  2. The accepted file formats are .mp3 and .wav ; the file can be up to 1 GB in size or up to 5 minutes in duration

  3. Once you upload your music, you can set it as background music for all scenes and adjust the volume

How to add a different music track to each scene?

  1. Navigate to the Music tab

  2. Preview any of the Colossyan stock music by clicking the play icon on the left-hand side

  3. Click Select

  4. Navigate to the next scene and repeat steps 1-3.

  5. Make sure that the toggle next to Set as background music everywhere is in the off position

πŸ“Important: In the preview the music will restart for every slide. In the final generated video it will play continuously throughout the video.
